Tamron Hall was born in September of 1970 in Luling, Texas. She was raised by her mother Mary Newton and her step-father Clarence Newton Sr. Her biological’s identity is unknown.

In 2017, Hall began dating music executive Steven Greener. The couple tied the knot two years later and have been together ever since. Currently, they are residing in Harlem, New York. Together, they have one son by the name of Moses Mitchell according to People.
Interestingly, Hall appeared on a 2014 episode of Running Wild with Bear Grylls where she and Bear hiked for two days in the Pink Cliffs of southwestern Utah.
