Stu was also close to his mother, who died of breast cancer complications on March 17, 2002.
Feiner also had a brother named Les Barry Feiner, who passed away in 2006 due to substance abuse. For his high school education, he joined Farmingdale High School from where he received his graduate degree in 1979. As he was getting popular as a handicapper, he got to feature in a Sports Illustrated article which had a titled “1-900 Ripoffs” in 1991. He then gave permission to document his NFL picks for the four weeks. However, Sports Illustrated later presented him in a negative way as only 37% of his prediction were correct.
