Kayleigh McEnany was born in Tampa, Florida on April 18, 1988, to her parents Michael and Leanne McEnanay. She has studied at a private Catholic preparatory school named the Academy of the Holy Names.
After her school, she got enrolled at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, where she completed graduation in international politics. Then, she moved to London where she attended St Edmund Hall, Oxford.

Kayleigh learned politics at Oxford from the British academic and politician, Nick Thomas-Symonds. She later studied law at Harvard Law School and received the Bruce J. Winick Award for Excellence while studying at the Miami School of Law. McEnany came out holding a graduation degree from Harvard in 2016. While studying in college, she worked as an intern for well-known politicians such as George W. Bush, Adam Putnam, and Tom Gallagher.
McEnany had earlier served as a paid commentator on CNN. She came out as a supporter of Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential election. Though, she was highly critical of him in 2015. Kayleigh left her association with CNN in August 2017, and then, joined as host of the 90-second webcast “Real News Update”.
Kayleigh has been associated with the Republican party since her college days. As a republican, she stood against Obama’s presidency, where she once questioned Barack Obama’s birthplace.
On April 7, 2020, she was hired as White House press secretary in the Donald Trump presidency. She has supported and defended Donald Trump on his false accusation that political commentator, Joe Scarborough had a person murdered. She provided support to Trump offering no strong proof in support of the accusation.
Likewise, in June 2020, she came in a support of the Trump administration’s decision to forcibly remove peaceful dissenters using pepper balls, smoke canisters, batons, riot shields, batons, and rubber bullets.
