Brendan Langley was born on October 16 in the year 1994 in Marietta, Georgia. He has not provided any details on his early life, parents, and academic achievement. It is known that he studied college in Georgia, and has played college football during the 2013-14 season.

Langley accepted the invitation to play in the 2017 Senior Bowl in December 2016. He was impressive in practice throughout the week. Even though he showed fluid movement, he was not able to hang on to receptions while receiving drills. In January 2017, he appeared as a part of the Chicago Bears in the 2017 Reese’s Senior Bowl. During the game, he recorded 3 combined tackles. After that, he attended the NFL Scouting Combine as one of 60 collegiate defensive backs.

Brendan then performed positional and coverage skills from 10 NFL teams for the team representatives and scouts. While he was in the draft process, he had private workouts and visits with multiple teams such as the New England Patriots, New York Jets, the Oakland Raiders, and the Minnesota Vikings. Langley was selected by the Denver Broncos in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He was picked with the 101st overall pick of the draft and was the 18th cornerback selected in 2017. After he was selected, he became the highest draft pick and the first player from Lamar in more than 25 years.

Langley was signed to the Denver Broncos for four years with a contract of $3.17 million in May 2017. During the training camp, he competed for the fourth cornerback against Lorenzo Doss and Taurean Nixon. In the end, he was selected as the fourth cornerback on the depth chart by the head coach, Vance Joseph. Langley played his first professional regular-season game against the Los Angeles Chargers. He recorded his first 2 career tackles in November 2017 at the Oakland Raiders.

Brendan remained inactive for 3 games after being surpassed by Marcus Rios on the depth chart. At the end of the 2017 rookie season, he finished with 3 solo tackles in 11 games.
