Billie Joe Armstrong was born in February 1972 in Oakland, California to parents Andrew and Ollie Jackson. His father was a jazz musician and truck driver who tragically died of esophageal cancer in 1982. Meanwhile, his mother worked as a waitress at Rod’s Hickory Pit.
Furthermore, the singer has five siblings: older sisters named Marci, Hollie, and Anna, along with older brothers, David and Alan.
