-World's largest battery fair to be held alongside 1st China International Energy Storage Exhibition and 1st China International Power Bank Exhibition

TIANJIN, China, July 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Held biannually and organized by China Industrial Association of Power Sources, China International Battery Fair (CIBF) has established itself as the largest battery fair in the world.

Following on from the 11th edition of the show held June 18-20, 2014 at Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, the 12th installment of the event will take place concurrently with the 1st China International Energy Storage Exhibition and the 1st China International Power Bank Exhibition on May 24-26, 2016.

For CIBF2016, the exhibition area is 82,500 square meters, with up to 1,300 exhibitors spread across over 4,000 booths and more than 40,000 visitors from more than 50 countries expected to visit. The theme of the CIBF2016 technical conference will be "power batteries and storage batteries", focusing on electric vehicle batteries and micro-grid, smart grid and energy storage batteries with a variety of the latest developments. 800 people from more than 50 countries and regions will attend the meeting which is in addition to ten business seminars that will also be held for domestic and foreign manufacturers.

CIBF2016 will be a trade platform for battery manufacturers and users to exchange ideas on new technology, to expand their markets and promote their products and services to customers in the worldwide marketplace. Battery manufacturers, vendors, research institutions, universities and users are all invited.
